My Simple World

HIV-AIDS finally was declared by the Department of Health an “Epidemic Decease”. Due to the outgrowing concerned on the widespread of the HIV-AIDS the government took its decisions toward the said decease that’s currently infecting some of our fellow people. Due to the problem the government is trying to make solutions. Their pushed out to the public that the practice of safe sex which is through the use of condoms can be the best way to eradicate this health problem. Even though the church is anti to that proposed solution, the government was still on their best way to kill the spread of that decease.

After finally locating the defect on my Shuffle earphone’s O Panel I went to the electronic hobby center to buy the necessary materials for my attempt to fix the defective part of my player. I tried to make a very good preparation and a plan so that there will be a 75% hope that I will be able to recover my earphone and avoid buying a new set which will cost about a thousand from my budget. Hmmm anyways, after I purchased the materials I went home immediately. I was excited and a bit scared for what will happen after my experiment. And so I arrived at our residence. Then, I prepared the table for which will serve as my bench working area, the lights, soldering iron, and a few more tools that I need. I started pulling out the cover of the button in a very careful way so that damage will be prevented. I saw the disconnected strands of insulated wire and check the proper connections of those things. They have different colors- green and red. After that I started to cut down a small length of that wire and applied a solder on it. There were four strands to solder and two joints to make. I was very careful on exposing it to the soldering iron because there is a tiny circuit intended for the button’s mechanism and I know that too much heat might damage and led to severe malfunctions of the whole earphone. Then, because of my carefulness at work, I was successful in bringing the disconnected parts together. Now, it’s time to test whether if the unit is still working or not. At first try, I was so happy because it worked but after a few switch on the button the problem came again. I think it was disconnected again. So, I made a rework on it and I tried to make it better in terms of soldering. At last, the earphone of my Shuffle was saved by me and I was able to save my money from buying a new expensive earphone.

One of my favorite things to do in my life is to do technical jobs. I can do tough jobs in electronics, mechanical and especially electrical. I consider myself a techie because I am always inclined to the technical world. Today I found that the other side of my IPod headsets wasn’t functioning. It bothered me so much because I don’t find it good to hear only one side was sounding. So, what I did was I tried to locate where was the problem occurs. I checked the female jacks on the player by testing it with a different earphone then both side of the earphone sounds. So now, I knew that it was on the earphone of the player. Anyways the MP3 player that I talk about is the 3rd generation shuffle wherein the controls are attached directly to the stem of the earphone. I know that I will be a very terrible repair job for me because I don’t have any diagrams for the gadget. The problem occurred at the control button. It is a tiny small OPanel intended for the user there you can locate the main mechanism of the player function buttons. There I saw tiny strands of insulated wires. It can be critical to open that button because in the first place I wasn’t sure of what’s inside that tiny box. In the end I was able to open it and I saw that the wires were cut and there seems to be a disconnection of lines. I want to try repairing this before I decide to buy a new one. At least I can save my money if ever I’ll be successful with this. The best thing is that I can widen my experience about these stuffs. Stay tuned for more post about this IPod problem of mine.

I was dismayed with what I heard from the daily news. A cop was sent behind bars because he was charged of a crime of killing a son of a business. The cop was proven to be the one who shot the victim. According to the news, the cop just took a response because he caught the victim in a robbery. He was about to arrest the victim when it tried to escape. The chase begun until maybe he found that it will continue the robber might escape. So, he pulled the trigger and because he was known as a sharpshooter he hit him. The gunshot hit victim and it was fatal and so it took him to his dead. The victim was claimed to be a son of a business man. Because of what happened, the parents of the victim filed a criminal case against the cop.
Anyways, this cop has contributed a lot to the community security. He was known as the man behind the death of many people who was known to be the problems of the society. Because of that, peace has been implemented. We all know that is unjust but it’s good to know that peace it here when scare is present. Only this time that the family of the victim took some action to put the cop inside the jail but hopefully this cop will soon be freed.
