Today, I will show my very own design for my PCB layout. The picture above is just a drawing done in paint. It’s quite cheap drawing but it will reflect my circuit routing job. So, as you can see there is a lighter color which I think is flesh and then the other one is a brown. The lighter color would represent the non conductive surface of the PCB which in terms is the result of the process called etching. Then the brown ones will be the conductive copper clad which will be the main connecting surfaces. You might be thinking why I only got a picture to show for this part. Well it is because; I just finished the etching process and found out that I haven’t taken a capture on the actual board. Please consider my faulty to present to you the actual thing because I really forgot it. So, I hope I’d be more vigilant on every action that I will take later on this process.

At this particular moment I am trying to figure out a diagram for my project. As I have said earlier, this is a redo of the past finished project which was proven and tested to be having some defects and malfunctions. I was just hoping that all of this will lead to the best results and I am working currently on the designing of the circuit board. Not like the first one wherein I didn’t use a proper wiring method for routing the connections this one will take the PCB (Printed Circuit Board) as the routing platform for all of the connections. Also, I am very specific with in terms of the physical appearance of this product and I that why I am trying to compress in into a smaller size with respect to the first output. That’s it for now and I will be showing some diagrams, maybe in the next few days from now.

Yesterday I posted about the final result of my project. I brought it with me during my trip to our old house and I was able to hear my favorite music again. But I felt uncomfortable with it because aside from it is not really presentable, its size really disgust. Though I am planning to apply paint on it, I decided to cancel all the plans and I came up in my mind a new design for this. It was concerned with its internal parts in the first place because the foundation and position of the electronic parts inside is not done very well. The cover, as you can see, it is made to last which means that it is not open for possible repairs and maintenance. So, currently I hang the project back to my bench work area. Still I am looking for probable and best solution for this. Actually there are a lot of problems that occurred after several use and I guess this might lead to destruction on my gadget. Well my current expenses hasn’t reach the price of a single headset because if it happens that my expense on this project will reach the price of a brand new headset, I might be blaming myself a lot for why I stumble on this experiments.

Here is the result of my modifications and testing. I think this would be the final product for this project that’s why I sealed it up with an epoxy. Naturally the epoxy that I used for this can be used as a sealant but basically it would serve as a glue to fix a certain joint and produce a solid foundation for corners or connections. So what I did here is I used the thick plastic things that was basically consisting the sim card. I don’t know the term for that but I know it will be useful in my project. It cut it down into specific size in order to form a small box. Then, I inserted the main part of the project into the box and sealed after it was tested for functionality. As you can see on the picture it isn’t that very nice since it looks bulky but what I want here is to utilize the functioning parts and put it back together. Well it is not an innovation but it is a kind of my personal invention. Soon it will be painted so that it would look nice though it’s a lot bigger than the player.

During these days the temperature of our environment is very high and it’s not usual. So, one thing that the health authority of the country fears is that there might be dangerous effects on the part of the humans. It is because our body isn’t used to the level of heat that we are currently experiencing. Though there are possibilities that we could cope up with this because our body is expected to adjust. According to the news there might be skin deceases that might affect us. Aside from this, aged people must be taken care because they are prone to heatstroke. There are several recorded cases that deals with heatstroke. So we must be aware of the threat prowling in our surroundings.

During the process of my ongoing IPod project, I found a lot of trouble in mounting the electronic parts. Currently I am doing some studies and test in order to find a greater chance to make this project successful. I also stopped on the soldering portion because I am afraid that the control unit will be destroyed because of the possible excessive heat that it accepts from the iron. But I am still so much hopeful that everything will be fine and after this entire job will be done.

Hi all! Good day! I am here again to take a picture of my ongoing project. Again, I was just looking for cost saving ways to safeguard my pocket and also explore the things that I use. Well going back to the picture above, it is an update again for my project. Now, as you can see, all the stuffs are mounted on the stripboard. So here I attach several components such as the push buttons, stereo socket, the IPod’s control unit, and the wired headphone jack that was cut-off from the unit. But wait, this is not the finally output of the project. Actually, this is just a model or bench working piece. So, I would still work more on this and I hope this will be successfully produced soon.

The picture above is the current awful plight of my Manjaru sandals. This is my first investment for my own earnings. It’s not too much expensive since I only spent 500 pesos to have it. But I treasure this one because it’s a thing that made me realize that I’ve been learning to earn and live. Then as you can see its busted and I can’t wear it anymore when I got to go outside. It happened like this because last Friday I went to our old house then unintentionally I got a very harsh conversation with my aunt and my grandma (it too personal, so please consider that I won’t talk much about it). After that conversation, I knew that many bad things could happen to me or let’s just say that my personal reputation toward my relative will surely degrade. So, since it was our house I have the rights to still stay there for some sleep. Then, what happened is after that night or concisely when I woke up, I notice this damage and felt so down. Well they said that our dog got this one busted up but would you believe it that a dog can do a very straight cut like this one? Maybe it is not clear in this picture but I tell you, it’s really disappointing to see this one in person.

Here is a sneak peek on my current project as I have mentioned last April 16’s post. The picture above gives you a view of a part of my bench working area. As you can see, it’s pretty clean and organized but in reality it is actually a very nasty place. Well, I’m trying to fix things up and make it a better workplace because it’s quite dangerous in my part.

Currently, I am doing some electronic project for my gadget. Particularly I am talking about my IPod’s headset which has gone to waste after I was able knock it down. Remember that particular post about my wrecked IPod headset last few days? Yes! I’m sure you got it! Now I am currently working for a replacement project for it. Maybe, I can post it in a matter of days starting today. It is just a simple project and maybe too bulky but I’m sure it would gonna save my expenses put in place my budget. So, I hope you will stay tuned for more updates on this project.
