My Simple World

Nowadays helping is a matter of money and time. Let’s take a look at what a kid did when my mother was on the market to buy some stuff for the house. The scenario was that my mama was crying many grocery bags which seem to be heavy and full. A kid run at her and said “Do you want my help? I can carry that!” Oh well she was amazed with the child’s helpfulness. She gave the bags and followed him to street side where she’ll be waiting for a taxi. When they got there, the kid started to ask my mother for the fee. She wasn’t surprised of that because mother always gives a bonus to someone who can help her. But then an argument aroused when the kid saw that the money was not enough for the service he rendered. Mother doesn’t want to argue small failures and so she gave the boy additional cash to satisfy him. Can you see how money and time works? Hmm that proves that even a small kid is no longer innocent about money matters and the things that going on within the society.

Sometimes along our journey to find the real essence of life, we can’t avoid ourselves from falling into the different sides of the road. Sometime we fail to maintain our focus on the track and got easily confused of what is happening. I’m trying to point out the facts about having bad habits in life. Habits come in two ways, one is bad and the other is good. Good habits is a must for everyone, it is a continuous routine consisting of good acts that will bear good results in the future. Now, there come the bad habits which are very common to every human being. It is a contrary to the first one which is said to be a must or shall I say requirement for a person. These things will bring forth the different bad effects of the bad habits. Anyways, in life these two is always present but the bad one is more dominant since it is easier to do bad rather than the good ones. At the end of all of these, the good still wins and everything else will be left as a mess.

Whenever I talk with my cousin I always notice that time after time the topic boils down to his career field which is the automotive. He just finished a vocational course in the technical institute in our city. There were two of them who took the course and luckily they passed the competency exams. So now they have the certificate that they are competent to work on any automotive shops or automobile companies. Then, last time I went to our old house, before we go to sleep we had a talk which lasted until 1 o’clock in the early morning. At first we were just talking about games and where they usually play online games since they don’t have a computer. After several moments, he switched the topic to his own knowledge about automobiles and everything. He is talking a lot about engine part which made me felt very bored until I fall asleep. He told me that he was still talking for almost 20 minutes until he knew that I was sleeping because he was suppose to ask me something but then he heard no voice as all. Well, that’s the lesson for him since he talks a lot about something I don’t understand so much.

As I go thinking upon how are those infrastructures in our city was built to last I stumble upon a question. How do they calculate the security of it to assure the occupants of a safe stay inside the particular building? I was just interested to know more about this because I have seen a lot of disasters relating to buildings and other structure that we usually go due to our needs of service. Just like the disaster happened maybe last month in the other town nearest to us. It was an ongoing project which will soon rise as a mall but the process killed five construction workers because a wall lose its strength was fell down to the area and massively killed five poor workers. Now, this is the question of my interest and I was so much hopeful to get several advices or answers for this.

Last Sunday we went to our old house. As always I still long to live in that house because of the type of environment that makes me very comfy. You know! The forest that makes up everything; the food, the water, fresh air, cool breeze of the wind, and the peace that I always long to have. Well, sad to say that I can no longer have those things everyday because we have a new house local somewhere downtown in the neighboring city. In this place everything seems to be opposite to the old birth place that we lived in for so many years. In our new house everything is really different. From the air that we breath everyday which seems like a mixture of clean and dirty particles in the environment to the water that we take in which has been processed by a manmade machinery. Well, we don’t have any other choice but to live because of the controversies that we’re trying to cope up from our old place. But for me, it’s been the best place ever.

I guess we all have seen billboards along different places in the city. Anyway, usually these large advertisements on billboards follow certain rules concerning specially the safety of the public. So that’s why most of the time we can only see those things in wide vacant lots intended for billboards and large advertisements. But have you ever thought of how come it goes up there especially that it is raised to a very high point. The first time I saw it, I was really thinking that it must be a large crane that made it anchored over there. But when I saw that there are several men working together to establish another tarpaulin advertisement, I was shocked because they’re such a dare devil people. I think they have no fear of heights because they seem to just play over the very dangerous job that they are into. I was amazed with the courage and strength they have when they’re on the top, far distant from the ground.

I know someone in our old place that seems to be very industrious. Time after time I saw him digging down on his farm eventhough the sun’s heat is at its peak. Most of the time he bites more that what he can chew not knowing that it can impact his own health. Well, I don’t know if he was just making it for the good of his family because it is a lot sacrifice to work under the intense heat of the sun. He might as well be a workaholic type of person because I think he’s been addicted to this kind of activity. Well, just a wild guess but I think it might be nearest to what is real because his action proves it out.

Big things really stated all over with the small things. It is a normal way of how we deal with everything. Sometimes we felt that things are getting stuck over a medium of time and then we take it as it was over. We even think of advancing to the next stage without thinking that there might be a very serious situation that we need to undergo on that certain stage and with that, we can learn more and put it into experience. Well, I am just trying to share my recent strange dead air of my life wherein I was able to think of why I am going to still undergo several hardships and struggle with it in order to get to the top.

If this one happened in my position then these dogs might suffer from me. But I think I would rather be amazed of these kinds of dogs because it’s a lot of courage to stay on the city streets knowing that there is a huge crowd of different people who could be a friend or a foe. It’s crazy and terrible to see the scene wherein the dogs seemed to attack the car after the driver hit the horns.

Here comes again! One of the life-threatening diseases has been prowling again over the different prone areas of the country to cast its deadly sting to the poor people – usually because of poverty. Well, I am talking straight about dengue which has been the most deadly disease during the rainy days. The disease caused by the deadly sting of the dengue carrying mosquito has been feared my many. Though there are known preventions but it is not really working at all time because of the human habits itself. Well, everyone is hopeful that it won’t hurt more live this time.
