After several years of service as a public school teacher, my previous class adviser way back in the year 2000 was finally reached her retirement period. She is a very good math teacher during those years when I was on the late stage of my elementary education. By the way, you might be wondering how I was able to know the news about her. I met her today at the bookstore wherein I was looking and searching for some pocket books to read. I was amazed of the encounter because she was able to still recognize my face though I am not her favorite student. Well we talked for a while and mention about little things that has passed over the years. She also asked me of what I am doing right now and same as with her. Well it was really great to see her again and I was thankful that she was still very healthy though her age reflects on her face.

Yesterday I was strolling around the village. Along with me is my father who felt his legs was so tired and painful. So after a few steps we arrive at a convenient store near the park. Then we ordered some junk foods and a liter of softdrink. After then we walk back to our house and so that we can take our evening meals then take some nap.

Nowadays helping is a matter of money and time. Let’s take a look at what a kid did when my mother was on the market to buy some stuff for the house. The scenario was that my mama was crying many grocery bags which seem to be heavy and full. A kid run at her and said “Do you want my help? I can carry that!” Oh well she was amazed with the child’s helpfulness. She gave the bags and followed him to street side where she’ll be waiting for a taxi. When they got there, the kid started to ask my mother for the fee. She wasn’t surprised of that because mother always gives a bonus to someone who can help her. But then an argument aroused when the kid saw that the money was not enough for the service he rendered. Mother doesn’t want to argue small failures and so she gave the boy additional cash to satisfy him. Can you see how money and time works? Hmm that proves that even a small kid is no longer innocent about money matters and the things that going on within the society.

After we settled to our new house I then remember that my favorite buddy wasn’t around. I’m talking about my acoustic guitar which has been my buddy in each day especially in times that I am sad or just nothing to do at all. But I was so happy and thankful that my parents visited our old house and then they remember about it. I was surprised when they got home from there because they had my guitar with them. Now, it happy and I was feeling so enthusiastic to play the instrument again.

Last Saturday, my father and I was went to the barber shop for a hair cut because according to my mother we’re getting more ugly each day because of our long hair. Well that sounds disappointing but it is what mother usually says just to force us to have our long hair trimmed. I and my father used to be hardheaded when it comes to that matter because it’s kinda wasting time and money. Anyways for the sake of peace, we just go for it although we have the reasons to decline from it. And so after that, we went home immediately and the mama saw our haircut then she was satisfied of it.

Have you ever played any PC games? Or have you tried playing those games with someone or with a group of people connecting through a certain local area network (LAN)? Well I say PC games are the most addictive games ever in my life. Either it is an action, adventure, role playing, or whatsoever is the type of the game that you play I can say that there is that feeling that keeps you always in touch with you computer because you want to play games again and again. Anyways being addicted to those things might put us into danger because I myself admit that I’ve been through with that. The time I learned to play counterstrike which was the first game that I was able to play, I tend to become more attached to it. Because of that I skip meals, spend sleepless nights, spend money to be with my friends who are likely an addict too, and everything else. I did all of that during those years of addiction to PC games. It lasted for 3 years and it was very heavily threatening not only my health but also my pocket. That’s why I was able to realized that everything was about to be messed up and then I tried to cope with it and put a limit on my gaming sessions. After those sacrifice and self discipline, I was able to manage myself.

The kid was again in the house. He used to watch me playing DOTA with my computer. Sometimes I also let him play because it looks like he wants to try the game but he just can’t ask me the favor. A few minutes after his arrival, a heavy rain occurred. The rain last for about an hour and at the end of the show a beautiful rainbow appeared. He knows about the story of the pot of gold. The bad thing there is that this kid wants to locate the end of the rainbow which seems to be so crazy. I was just laughing and try to lose his concentration about the pot of gold by giving him the time to handle the computer and play DOTA. It worked and he forgot about it.

Today, I kid from our neighbor went to our house to ask some help to my father about his project. His project was a wooden medicine cabinet. He doesn’t know how to do the job that’s why he calls for the help of my father. My father is a certified expert when it comes to carpentry. Immediately my father went to his tool room and gets the things that are needed for the job. The little kid was so thankful for the generosity of my father. He was bringing with him a few coins just in case if he’ll be asked to pay. My father laughed at him and said “It’s not worth a coin kid but I would just ask you to be a good man”. He added “It is my pleasure to help those little men like you”. I was amazed with my father being so generous and helpful.

I stayed awake until one o’clock in the early morning. It should be boring but with the aid of the television, I stayed tuned and still kicking. It has been my usual scheme because I need to take care of my blogs. Anyways, I don’t have many responsibilities to accomplish and so I can stay with this lifestyle. I am used to this way of living.

“Hey! Good Day. How’s your day?” A friend of mine used to greet me like this today. I’m sure he was having a very good day because it seems like he was smiling and he says this jokily. By the way I met him when I was on the way to the restroom. After that, I went to the vending machine and drop the coins on the slot and grab a cup of coffee. I saw him again at a bench near the vending machine. He was having a great time with his coffee and a laptop. I seat beside him and I tried to sneak a look at what he was doing. Oh well, he was chatting with his foreign friend. He tried to introduce me to that blonde girl who on-cam with him. She was pretty nice girl. My friend told me that the blonde girl that I saw was her girlfriend and she coming to the country by next month. He was trying to ask me some advice about how would he prepare for the coming of his “GIRLFRIEND”. Well, I told him to look for good places in our place and take her for a tour. He was excited as I could see it in his eyes. Now I know why he was behaving that way today.
