My Simple World

Our friendly neighbor Jana was having a birthday celebration for her kid. She has prepared some foods for the small simple celebration. She was the first person in our whole neighborhood whom my mother talked with. She was kinda nice person and was very friendly. Anyway, one of her son came knocking at our door. He was carrying a plate with a cake on it. Then he said “Hey! It my birthday today! Here’s a cake. Mama took it for you”. My father was the one who receive the cake and he greeted the kid with a warm “Happy Birthday”. The cake was chocolate flavored and it was so delicious. Right after we transferred it to our own plate, the kid returned to get their plate. Again we greeted him “Happy Birthday” and thanked for the food that they shared to us.
